纳伦Baliram, 博士学位, joined the School of Education at 西雅图 Pacific University after teaching high school students for 14 years. She taught a variety of mathematics subjects, 包括几何, 代数2, 有关微积分的知识, 和AP微积分. 2013年，Dr。. Baliram joined SPU as a doctoral student and adjunct instructor in the School of Education.  Upon earning her 博士学位, she joined the faculty in 2016 full-time.

Dr. Baliram research focuses on teacher attrition and multiple modes of teaching. 更具体地说, she examines why math and science teachers are quitting the profession during their first five years of teaching. 此外, she uses her expert knowledge and experience with online teaching to research ways to support and prepare teachers for effective online instruction. Dr. Baliram primarily teaches graduate-level courses to pre-service teachers who are preparing to teach mathematics and/or science at the middle and high school levels.
